Jane has written for DIVA since 1994, and joined as its editor
on April Fool's Day 2004. An auspicious day for her (it's her mum's
birthday), she waved her freelance career as a journalist for The
Times, the Independent and Horse & Hound goodbye. She loves:
dancing to old school funk and disco, the smell of wet pinewood,
babbling brooks, peak experiences, dirty electro, summer orchards,
rock'n'roll, fresh blueberries in Greek yoghurt, Japanese tattoos,
cycling through the centre of London at breakneck speed, 1970s
Cutler and Gross specs, freedom-fighters, Mies Van der Rohe and
Britt Ekland in The Wicker Man. She hates: racism, homophobia,
transphobia, not being able to speak Spanish. Or ancient Greek.
Pneumatic drills. And snobs.
