A weekend-long gathering for bi people, their friends, partners and allies
BY LIBBY BAXTER-WILLIAMS
BiCon has come a long way since it began as a one day conference on the politics of bisexuality.
Now in its 37th year (yep, that’s right), BiCon has become the highlight of the bi+ community calendar.
This year BiCon takes over the university of Lancaster, hosting more than 300 bisexual people, their friends and allies for a long weekend of daytime workshops, interactive sessions and evening events in the bar.
With previous sessions including everything from tea tasting, to how to start your own bi group to flirting and strap-on sex; you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy.
To win tickets to this year’s BiCon (more information here) including accommodation, simply retweet this article on Twitter and tag in who’d you’d take along with you!
A winner will be chosen before the end of May 2019. T&C’s apply.
Heading the BiCon team in Lancaster this year is Claire.
“The biggest draw for BiCon is spending time in a majority bi space,” she explains.
“When does that ever happen!? BiCon brings our community together.
“I’m proud to be a part of it”.
