BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts will be part of the line-up of I’m A Celebrity 2019.
She tweeted on Tuesday 12 November: “Red fleeces at the ready!!!!! She’s going in! Thank you for all the lovely messages, I’m saving them all up for her! Let’s go jungle crew! #ImACeleb #TeamAdele”
Adele’s partner, actor Kate Holderness, also expressed her excitement at the news, writing on Instagram and sharing to Twitter:
“EEEEEK!!!!! I can’t even DEAL! So excited for my little camp mate 🤠 we watch the jungle every year, it’s going to be a whole new experience watching it this time! 😱
“She’s SO excited & I know she’s going to do us so proud. 🥰⛺️ Can’t wait to watch her every night in camp with you!!!!
“Let’s get those stars!!!”
Alongside Adele, Olympian and TV personality Caitlyn Jenner – reportedly paid £45,000 to appear on the show – is back for more Jungle action, having endured a stint on the US version in 2003. Plus Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle and Eastenders actor, Jacqueline Jossa.
