You didn’t think we were gonna let you miss out on all the Pride fun this year, did you?

This Pride Month may seem a little bit different to usual. Every summer the LGBTQI community all over the UK comes together to celebrate, but those celebrations have had to move online for 2020.

With physical events no longer an option, DIVA have dreamt up the ultimate virtual Pride celebration to make sure our wonderful community isn’t isolated or excluded from Pride this year under the current circumstances.

Say hello to DIVA Pride! A Pride that celebrates and supports all LGBTQI women. To achieve this, we will be working with UK Black Pride, LGBTQI charities and other key LGBTQI groups to build upon the success of our recent virtual Lesbian Visibility Week.

Prides across the world are an important symbol of unity and togetherness for the LGBTQI community. But the research from DIVA’s recent survey showed that LGBTQI women often feel that events are not designed with them in mind. Not this time!

Taking place Saturday 11 July 2020, DIVA Pride will be co-hosted by Char Bailey and Saski and will feature a whole host of music sessions with some of our favourite DIVA friends and supporters. Use the hashtag #DIVAPride to get involved online.

The event will start at 4pm and continue into the evening with a closing set from DJ Ritu. You’ll be able to stream the whole event right here at DIVA’s website.

DIVA Pride is proudly sponsored by Catalyst, Facebook. Folio, London Stock Exchange Group, London Women’s Clinic, MyGWork, and TSB.

DIVA Publisher Linda Riley said: “We are delighted to continue a form of our DIVA Women’s stage through a virtual DIVA Pride – it is important during these unprecedented times that DIVA continues to serve the LGBTQI women’s community and ensure their voice is not lost.”

Heather Peace said: “I’m thrilled to have been asked to perform for you at DIVA Pride this Saturday. It’s not the same as being together in one space but it’s important that we feel we’re coming together as a community at this time and celebrating our similarities and our differences in all their glory, albeit virtually.”

I’m a speaker and annual exhibitor at the Fertility Show in London, regular BBC radio guest, specialised natural fertility coach, reflexologist and emotional coach. Over the last 15 years, I have developed the skills and knowledge that have led me to write the Mama Be programme for natural fertility. We were never taught all we need to know about preconception health and increasing our chances of pregnancy. The 360 whole person approach I take is unique and THE alternative to ivf.
