Gina on…

The realities of racism

“It definitely shaped my childhood. It shaped my entire working life. It’s shaped the lives of every person in England. Not just Black people. Everybody.”

How coming out changed her comedy

“The day I completely opened up and went, ‘I don’t give a fuck. I’ve got nothing to hide. This is who I am,’ I got twice as good as a comedian.”

Falling for her long-term girlfriend

“She grabbed me by the hand. We were inseparable after that… She’s hilarious and that’s why we get on so well.”
