Get ready to follow fantastic talent. You’re welcome
BY CAIT FINDLAY
If you, like so many of us, spend hours scrolling through your TikTok feed as a break from the news, it might be time to think about what you’re seeing on there. It’s Transgender Awareness Week from 13-19 November, so to honour it, why not check out some amazing trans women and non-binary TikTok icons?
There’s so much you could be missing out on – comedy, make-up, bread-baking, lip syncing, you name it, they’ve done it – so we’ve put together some of the best trans women and non-binary TikTokers that you can follow and watch to your heart’s content. You’ll have heard some of their names before, but some might be totally unfamiliar.
Following and interacting with your favourite content creators, especially those with marginalised identities, is a double win. It means you get shown more videos from similar creators who you might never have discovered otherwise, and it gives them more of a platform to reach more people and spread more gender-disrupting joy.
